Application areas and instructions for use

• For whole body washing independent of washing facilities
• Especially suitable for washing of immobile persons and bedridden patients in intensive care and infection units
• For cleaning and care of intact skin
• Suitable for whole body washing in cases of MDRO

How to Use

• If required, the packaging may be heated in a microwave (30 seconds at 600 W) or cooled in advance for refreshing washing (up to 24 hours at +5 °C).
• Open the softpack carefully and remove an octenisan® wash mitt as needed.
• Clean the skin thoroughly and leave the impregnation solution on the skin for at least 30 seconds.
• Ensure that the skin is completely moistened, especially in the armpits, between fingers, between toes, and in other skin folds.
• Rinsing with water after use is not necessary.
• For regular hair washing, the use of octenisan® wash cap is recommended. If patients prefer traditional hair washing, octenisan® wash lotion may be used.
• For long-term daily use, regular washing with wash lotion and water (e.g., once weekly) is recommended.
• One mitt per body area: face, neck, and breast

• Please refrain from the application of skin caring products (e.g. skin lotion) in the context of full body cleansing with octenisan®.
• Do not use in combination with products containing PVP-iodine.
