Wash Mitts
MICROSHIELD® 2% CHG wash mitts are dermatologically tested, ready-to-use, single-use antimicrobial wash mitts intended for pre-surgical patient preparation and whole body cleansing without the use of water. The wash mitts are made from a soft, tear-resistant non-woven fabric impregnated with a 2% chlorhexidine digluconate solution. Rinsing with water after use is not necessary.

Application Notes
Open the softpack and remove a wash mitt as required. Clean the skin thoroughly and leave the impregnation solution on the skin. Ensure that the skin is completely moistened, especially in the armpits, between the fingers, between the toes, and other skin folds. Rinsing with water after use is not necessary.
- Use one wash mitt per body area according to the recommended sequence
- Use at room temperature or warmed (microwave or warming cabinet)
- No rinsing necessary
Preparation
If required, the wash mitts may be warmed in a microwave for 30 seconds at 600 Watts or in a heating cabinet. Open the packaging and remove the first wash mitt. Before use, ensure that the wash mitts are not too hot.

- One mitt per:
- Neck and chest
- Right arm and armpit
- Left arm and armpit
- Abdomen and crotch (front)
- Right leg
- Left leg
- Back
- Lower abdomen (back)
Special Advice
Do not use in case of known or suspected allergies to chlorhexidine digluconate or any of the named ingredients. Keep away from eyes, ears and mouth. Not suitable for infants. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
